Sartorial Elegance in a Junkyard!

Take sartorial inspiration for summer style by adding just one block of vibrant color as beautifully showcased in this latest photo shoot by Hope, of Hope Ann Photography. Hope and her stunning model, Jordan, created a vintage feel with a contemporary twist using the iconic backdrop of a junkyard, “I wanted my viewers to know I was exaggerating the feeling of a 1950′s vintage woman in modern-day” replied Hope when I asked from where the inspiration came for the shoot.

“Photography is how I express my art and has been an exciting thrill of mine since my first photography class while studying abroad in Australia in 2004. Partnered with my college degree in graphic design, the birth of my beautiful little girl and a wonderfully supportive husband – digital photography became my chosen medium to express my artwork”.

“I have to give all credit to the model, Jordan, when it comes to the outfits. She showed up with a number of amazing choices. I shot Jordan in the green top and heels first because I was in love with the dramatic contrast of her outfit compared to the grungy background of the junkyard but I am slightly obsessed with shoulder pads so Jordan’s cropped green jacket with the black rope detail was a must”.

“I am an artist.…….of all the things I could dream of becoming, this one sums up who I am and what I am truly passionate about.”
